Uncle Joes Barbers brings you a great combination of modern and traditional barbering, providing fresh cuts to our diverse male client base. In a traditional shop, complete with antique barber chairs, talk to our crew about the cut you are looking for. Exceptional barbering and shaving skills along with relaxed personal attention will compliment your style, be it anything from a traditional Short Back n Sides, to a ‘Razor Faded Pompadour’. Our team of barbers take an enormous amount of pride in having their customers leave with a cut and experience that they have enjoyed and appreciated. We use and recommend the following pomades, waxes, beard oils and serums;
Layrite, Captain Fawcett, Baxters of California, EVO, King Brown, Slick Gorilla and Proraso.

Men’s Standard Haircut

—Classic or contemporary styles ranging from short-tapered scissor cuts, to clipper grades 2 and above on the back and sides. This 30-minute appointment includes a thorough consultation and professional styling advice, finished with a smooth razor finish to the back of the neck.

Men's Fade

—This barbershop classic takes it all the way down to half or zero, blended into a scissors on top. This 45-minute appointment includes a thorough consultation and professional styling advice, finished with a smooth razor finish to the back of the neck.

Men's Restyle

—For those looking to reinvent their current self or try something new, this service caters to those who haven’t had a cut in 3+ months. This 60-minute appointment includes a thorough consultation and professional styling advice, finished with a smooth razor finish to the back of the neck.

Men's Long Hair Lob

—Even long hair needs attention. You’ll be pleased to know we cater for those with the luscious locks reminiscent of the 70’s. This 60-minute appointment includes a thorough consultation and professional styling advice, finished with a smooth razor finish to the back of the neck.

Men's Buzzcut

—For those in uniform, or for the follicly challenged. A one-grade clipper all over to catch those pesky flyaways. This 15-minute appointment includes a hot towel and smooth razor finish to the back of the neck.

Men’s Head Shave

—For the smooth operators out there. Have it taken all off with the straight razor for a clean, polished look. This 30-minute appointment includes a hot towel experience and post-shave care, finished with a smooth razor finished to the back of the neck.

Traditional Cut Throat Shave

—A luxury full facial shave using traditional and contemporary techniques. This unique experience includes pre-shave preparation with hot towels and a relaxing post-shave treatment.

Beard Trim

—Is your beard in dire need of maintenance? Our beard trims are for the bohemians and hipsters alike. We can consult and advise with professional expertise to help achieve your desired look. This 30-minute service is finished with a hot towel and your choice of beard grooming product.

Kids Cut (6-13 years of age)

—Styled cuts for the young gentlemen. A thorough consult and styling advice will be provided to the attending guardian. Please be aware kid’s cuts are booked as 30-minute service and may take longer in accordance with the preferred style.

Kids Fade - (Boys 6 - 13 Years)

—This barbershop classic takes it all the way down on the sides, blended with scissors on top. This 45-minute appointment includes a consultation and professional styling advice.

We totally appreciate that your time is valuable, and so is ours.

Uncle Joes are located in the Perth CBD and FOMO complex in Fremantle. Both barber shops predominately run by appointment so please be sure to be on time, to avoid holding up other clients. If you are late, we may not be unable to provide the service that Uncle Joes is famous for without compromising the next person’s appointment. We kindly ask that you give us 6 hours notice for appointment cancellations or reschedules. This allows us to offer your appointment slot to someone on our waitlist.

Online Bookings & Card Capture: At Uncle Joe’s, we use a secure card capture system through our booking platform, Fresha. When booking, you’ll be asked to enter your credit or debit card details — no payment is taken upfront.

Your card is securely stored (through a global 3rd party provider) and may only be charged in line with our cancellation policy for late cancellations or no-shows. This helps us protect our team’s time and ensure fair scheduling for all clients.

You’ll still pay in person after your appointment as usual.

Kids Cuts: Are for school aged boys between 6 – 13 years.
